Lesson 9 “Your Path to Health & Healing”

Psalm 16:11  “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Proverbs 3:5-8

Sickness attacks à Diagnosis of symptoms (knowledge) » Course of treatment » Prognosis (expected outcome)

As believers, we know the end at the beginning! We have an expected outcome based on the Word of God.

•  We are loved. Our heavenly Father's good pleasure for us to live an abundant life.

Jer 31:3 “ The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”

•  The price of our healing has been paid for at Calvary . By His stripes I am/we were healed.

Is 53:5  “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

•  I am convinced by the Word of God that it is His will to heal me.

Luke :12,13 “ And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean." Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately the leprosy left him.”

Matthew 9:35

•  The Word of God is the Will of God for my healing.

Psalm 107:19-22 “ Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

I John 5:14,15 “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”

•  I choose to do warfare by worshipping my God and my Healer.

Psalm 44:4-8 “ You are my King, O God; Command victories for Jacob. Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, Nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, And have put to shame those who hated us. In God we boast all day long, And praise Your name forever. Selah”

•  I will do whatever it takes to receive my healing so I can live and fulfill all His plans and purposes for my life.

Proverbs 3:5 “ Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding.”

•  I will overcome the challenges of faith. God said it. I believe it. That settles it.

Romans 4:17 “ (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

II Cor. 4:13 “ We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;”

•  I will resist the devil and he will flee. He will not hinder me from living my life to the fullest.

James 4:7

Prognosis – The Expected Outcome

Psalm 103:1-5 “  Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all thine iniquities ; who heals all thy diseases ; Who redeems thy life from destruction; who crowns thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfies thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's

Psalm 107:19-22 “ Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
